Services Provided

Our orthopedic surgical team provides the following services:

Computer-Navigated Total Hip and Knee Replacement

A total hip replacement is a surgical procedure where the diseased cartilage and bone of the hip joint is surgically replaced with artificial material. Total hip replacements are usually performed because of severe arthritis in the hip joint. The most common type of arthritis leading to total hip replacement is degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis) of the hip joint. Osteoarthritis can cause intense chronic pain and can impair daily functions, including walking, climbing stairs and even rising from a sitting position.

Partial Knee Replacement

During a partial knee replacement, only one part of the damaged knee is replaced. Generally, this becomes an option once non-surgical treatments or medication are not working. During the procedure, surgeons shave away diseased or damaged parts of the knee without replacing the knee entirely. Instead, they insert artificial implants to relieve the arthritis in a specific part of the knee. Compared to a total knee replacement, a partial knee replacement generally offers a quicker recovery, less blood loss and less pain after surgery.

Fracture Care

While bones are able to bend under some pressure, they can fracture or break when enough force is applied. Our specialist knows that every fracture is different and customizes the treatment plan for each patient depending on the location and type of fracture. We care for all types of broken bones, including hip, leg, arm, ankle, wrist and more.
