A community back to school fair to benefit Nye County students entering grades K-12 will be held Saturday, July 20 from 8 – 11 a.m. at Pathways-Innovative Ed, 2000 S. Mt Charleston Drive.
Among the many things to be offered are free dental screenings, free sports physicals, backpacks and school supplies (while supplies last), school registration and bus transportation information, and SAFE Before & After School Program registration.
Desert View Hospital will be distributing school supplies, along with many other local businesses.
Immunizations are available for children without insurance and Medicaid recipients; parents are asked to bring Medicaid cards. Private insurance is not accepted.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany students for sports physicals and screenings.
