Desert View Hospital Awarded Grant to Provide No-Cost Mammograms

Ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Desert View Hospital is proud to announce a partnership with the American Breast Cancer Foundation, which will provide funding for no-cost mammograms for uninsured individuals within the Pahrump area.

The grant funding will cover screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms and ultrasound diagnostic mammograms while funding lasts. The program is available to any uninsured individual with an address or proof of residency in the following zip codes: 89048, 89041, 89060, 89061, 89020, 89003, 89023, 89049, 89022, 89045 and 89409.

We are so appreciative to the foundation for providing us this funding.”

To schedule an appointment, please call Desert View Hospital’s radiology department at 775-751-7584. This program will run from October 1, 2024, until March 31, 2025, or until funding is depleted.

No physician order is required, and results of the testing will be communicated via follow-up from a healthcare practitioner.
